A charming and naive jug from the Garrison pottery of Sunderland, heavily decorated in pink lustre featuring a ship in full sail and the verse - The Ship is Mour'd The wages paid Welcome the sailor Tom's maid.

Circa 1840

Approx - 4.25 inches (110mm) tall.

In good condition save a simple repair to spout.
