Description:

A very well decorated jug from Moore and Co of Sunderland, elaborately coloured  with  pink and green, vibrant brushstrokes, monochrome flowers on both sides of neck, typical of this pottery, and 3 transfers. The iconic bridge over the River Wear, on the reverse a ship in full sail and below the spout a sentimental verse within a coloured garland.

Circa 1830-50

Approx - 6.75 inches (175mm) tall.

In poor condition, chips and nibbles to rim and base and a re-stuck spout.
