Risque Bear Jug

Risque Bear Jug

Catalogue No: A027

£ 2750.00

A charming and very rare example of a bear jug in Whieldon type colours, slightly risqué in that the spout could be construed as a part of the animal's anatomy! The bear's muzzled head can be removed and the beverage poured through the spout, to shrieks of delight all round....

Circa 1800

Approx - 6.5 inches (165mm) tall.

In very good condition save typical, minor paint losses.
