Description:

A  Lustre jug, from Scott's of Sunderland, transfer printed with the 'Sailors Farewell', 'A West View of the Cast Iron Bridge over the River Wear' (transfer No 26 see J. C. Baker Sunderland Pottery), and the "Glide on my Bark...' verso within a garland incorporating "Scott's and Sons' logo, all overpainted with enamel colours.

Circa 1840-50

Approx 8 inches (200mm) tall.

In very good condition throughout save a small chip and hairline to base of handle.
