Description:

A charming, small jug featuring simple, purple lustre decoration. Below the spout 'PLEASURE AT HOME' to one side a transfer of a 'stricken deer' with a naive verse and the other a transfer of a domestic scene of bliss with another verse. The handle has a charming old, metal repair.

Circa 1850-60

Approx - 3.5 inches (90mm) tall.

In very good condition save a chip to the spout.
