A fantastic frog mug from Newcastle Pottery, made to commemorate the opening of the iconic Wear Bridge. In contrasting monochrome, a powerful design with the frog picked out in washed black. Stupendous!

Circa 1796

Approx - 4.75 inches (120mm) tall.

In good condition, minor nibbles,  paint losses and a restock handle.
