Description:
Uncle Tom with Eva by his side standing in a boat, the water below them on a raised gilt lined base. Crudely decorated and naively modelled, the affection these characters of the seminal book had for each other is apparent in this wonderful figure.
Circa 1852
Approx - 12 inches (300mm) tall.
In very good original condition throughout save small firing crack below Eva's left elbow and to the rear.
