Known as the 'Rescue Dog" this spill vase is based on a painting of the same name by artist MA Baker. Evocatively modelled as a Newfoundland dog rescuing a child from a stream. Minimally decorated with ornamented shredded clay.
Circa 1850
Approx 8 inches (200mm) tall x 5 inches (120mm) wide
in good condition with minor paint losses and scuffs.

A well modelled, pre Victorian, figure of a faun standing on a hollow, mound base with bocage to the rear. Well decorated 'in the round' with sharp, contrasting colours.
Circa 1820
Approx 5 inches (120mm) tall x 4 inches (100mm) wide.
In good condition, only minor scuffs and paint losses.
